Real estate news: Ria expands HQ in Buena Park, leasing more space

By: Samantha Gowen

Ria, an international money transferring service, has signed a large office lease in Buena Park, expanding its Orange County base at Village Business Park.

The company in a statement said it’s experiencing “rapid growth, driving the demand for additional space.”

Ria has leased at the office complex since 2013 and wanted to remain at the property because of its central location. The Class “A” building at 7000 Village Drive is just off I-5 near the 91 freeway.

Cushman & Wakefield said the new deal adds 60,869 square feet to Ria’s current lease, which now totals 88,667 square feet.

Since buying the property in 2018, Stanton Road Capital has invested in improvements including an updated outdoor courtyard designed to be a “second space” for all tenants and modernized main entrance. The property is currently 94% leased.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Tom Sheets and Quint Carroll are the exclusive leasing agents for Village Business Park. Cameran Lindee and Scott Kenny at CBRE represented Ria.
