Investment management firm purchases Richardson office building

By Staff report

A Los Angeles-based investment management firm has acquired Campbell Glen II in Richardson in a deal facilitated by HFF’s Christopher Murphy.

Stanton Road Capital, which specializes in direct commercial property investment, plans to renovate the property that formerly was 100 percent leased by AT&T.

The 210,000-square-foot, Class A office building at 1125 East Campbell Road is currently vacant.

SRC plans to develop a structured parking garage for covered parking and a parking ratio that’s more than 6/1,000 square feet as part of the improvements.

SRC’s rehabilitation of the property will include an overhaul of the lobby and common areas and a suite of tenant amenities, like a fitness center, tenant lounge with Wi-Fi, grab-and-go food and beverages, and outdoor spaces.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Clinton Madison and John Fancher are slated to serve as leasing agents for the property.

SRC has acquired more than $1.5 billion in office properties in Dallas area since 2008.
